Pizza good! I do think this place is kind of funny, because doesn't "Tonino" already mean "Little Tony," which makes the name actually "Little Little Tony's"? Also you MUST check out their site, it's fun (especially the description of what they will use the homepage for)!
I just read about a new website that could come in handy for any of my NYC readers looking for last-minute, high-end dining options.
Every Wednesday morning, WeekendEpicure.com starts selling reservations for the following Friday & Saturday nights at some of the best restaurants in the city - for $35 a table. Not bad for last minute special occasions!
Here are the restaurants they're currently listing:
A Voce, Babbo, Bouley, Café Boulud, Chanterelle, Craft, Daniel, Del Posto, Eleven Madison Park, Gordon Ramsay at the London, Gotham Bar and Grill, Gramercy Tavern, Jean-Georges, Le Bernardin, Nobu, Spice Market, and Union Square Café.
Times and availability are (obviously) limited - but it's fun to see what's open!
